(Unfortunately I haven't had the money to pay the website editor to get all the websites loaded properly on the joomla based website templates - which need coding & html etc.  I managed to set this website up myself using http://www.weebly.com without having to write a single letter of code - and it didn't cost much either! - I just wish I had found it before!  N.B. Global Ark Projects website template came from YooTheme, and The Ark Directory is being set up using their 'Zoo' content application builder.)

Eco-Designs.net has been initiated to network this group of organisations in one place.  (I bought the domain www.eco-designs.co.uk back in 2003/4 - but I didn't set up the website.  The website editor is currently working on this and www.thearkdirectory.com 5th October 2010)

This arrangement was necessary because there has been no funding (whatsoever) for all the work on The Tree Ark Project or any of the other Global Ark Projects - which bought about the subsequent 'Ark' flotilla to cover that particular seeding problem - for everyone concerned, hopefully negating the need to reinvent the wheel for each successive project, and save people further hardship. 

The main website as detailed above, is accessible, but unfinished due to the lack of funding.  It has already cost nearly £1200 to current stage (including the graphics I had to buy etc), and as all the work for the project was without funding/payment, my children have had to go without enough already.

This website will be edited and amended further shortly, and all the researchers links, together with those of charities and other non-profits used for the full report and proposals, will be listed in group order (as will the research) -  time allowing I am afraid, as it is all 'free' working time - It is totally inhibiting having worked over 18 months on such a vast project with no income from it.


Updated 5th October 2010 - its now been 2 years & 3 months putting this all together without any funding!  (Please note that every single word, article, presentation, concept graphic across all websites, have all been written, adapted and presented by me alone.)
