The Ark Communities Project
We offer a starting point through which people can access all they need to live sustainably, and list existing sustainable communities across the world.
A full range of services for all members’ onboard Ark vessels will be offered, including a comprehensive range of initiatives and support for people who are climatically and ethically linked in their concerns.
Anyone trying to live sustainably knows that there is an eternity of resources available online, but there is often little feedback on the benefits or problems with the list of presented options open to them.
As with all Global Ark Projects, we offer you assistance from independent consultants who will work with you to provide you with the tailor-made package of support you are looking for.
We are offering:
Through this website we will also be listing our progress in regard to those sustainable community living projects we are looking to initiate. Our first being The Tree Ark Project, based in Norfolk, England - please see our other documents concerning this. Formed to provide affordable eco-housing in regenerative sustainable community living projects to those who are willing to work on projects which will re-green wasted, brown barren or unproductive land.
The aim is to form sustainable communities living in low impact, truly affordable Eco-Homes, built of locally sourced materials wherever possible (e.g. straw bale, lime or mud and timber so long as they meet with building control approval).
Alongside those who wish to have low-impact, community housing, we will also work with all those who wish to live sustainably in urban areas - both in co-operatively linked communities, and as individual self-sufficient projects.
This vessel will provide the opportunity for all sustainably and climatically concerned to link up via our online forums, and through those of others which will also be highlighted here.
