The Ark Elements Project
Will link build designs and techniques to tie in with the latest scientific research and predictions in the changes of climate in differing geographical locations.
On this website we will be providing proposed building techniques and materials which will provide the best performance against the changing climate, both for new build projects and for adaptation of existing buildings. We will also be offering alternative construction methods to suit alternative environments, wet or dry.
As soon as we can, we will also start working on the provision of funds to provide water to those areas suffering from continual droughts, and will provide information of the funds and proposed projects on this website, which will link to The Ark Water Project.
As Earth’s climate changes, this vessel provides the information people will need to survive.
The construction of housing will need to be flexible and adaptable, and, (dependant upon the effects of climate change), ultimately only provide temporary accommodation.
If the effects of climate change are not halted or reversed, people will need to be far more adaptable to survive the elements.
What was previously seen as a permanent structure, unless flexible and adaptable itself, will need to provide housing for a given time period. After which time, windows, doors and renewable energy technologies will need to be removed and re-used in the new structure.
Sustainable community living projects need to be built in all areas.
Ecological House designs will need to be adaptable to suit each potential site, from desert to rock or mud.
Dependant upon the location, each community will need to know what materials can be used to construct buildings, and how to build under changing terrains and climate.
Many indigenous people are already adept in the construction of dwellings constructed from local materials, this knowledge is highly beneficial to all concerned.
The latest climate findings, seismic activities and warnings, will be streamed on this vessel for public access.
Advance warning of earthquakes, tsunami’s or flooding will give people the opportunity they need to avoid the climate disasters which currently devastate the lives of so many people across the world.
